Community assessment — surveys

July 2026: the instrument set has been consolidated for the election season. Five instruments remain open — ask a candidate, request an interview, the site-feedback survey below, the priorities question, and the community clock — plus one standing channel: Tell us what you’ve seen. Results already gathered from closed instruments will be published as findings.

Community assessment — that’s what this page really is: the Nation measuring itself, one anonymous answer at a time, on questions the community can only answer for itself. Every instrument below feeds Community Findings as combined counts, dated.
The instruments — by subject
Accountability & the workplace
- The Tactic Tally — which tactics, where (by kind), when — and hostile treatment at work.
- The Community Clock — real timelines: NLC, ONLR, ethics, hotline tips.
- Call out the tactics — the moves, de-identified.
- The promises, ranked — the recurring ideas from the interviews; your top 3, no names attached.
- Make It Accessible — what people travel for, how far, and what would fix it — by agency.
Government reform & the referendum
- Problem → provision — what the draft actually says, cited.
- Constitution interest poll — want more plain-language lessons?
Priorities & the election
- The priorities and approaches surveys below — what matters most, and which ideas speak to you.
- Accountability Corner — one a day — one answer a day, gathered into themes.
- What matters most to you? — star the threads that matter; share your priorities anonymously.
- Which approaches speak to you? — about the ideas candidates and officials proposed in their interviews — never for or against a person.
The facts themselves
- The Chart Project — verified entries for the charts, with named gaps.
Four anonymous surveys, open now
- Your priorities — which threads matter most to you
- Approaches that speak to you — about the ideas in the record, never for or against a candidate
- Accountability Corner answers — the daily question, answered in your own words
- Constitution interest poll — one tap: should we build more lessons on the proposed constitution?
Short, anonymous, mobile-friendly. Results publish as collective findings on the Community Dashboard — never individual answers. Every question has room for “prefer not to say.”
Leader qualities — what matters most to you?
Priorities — which mission matters most to your family?
Hope check — how are you feeling about the Nation's direction?
This website — is it helping?
More instruments from the archive are being rebuilt — metrics takes, civics takes, and issue-by-issue stances. Suggest a survey question.
Helping our elders at the doctor — would a healthcare advocate help your family?
Anonymous — published only as combined counts on Community Findings, dated. Why we ask: counted need is how an advocate program gets justified and built.
The idea on the table: a trained healthcare advocate who helps an elder understand and prepare for medical visits — what the appointment is for, what to bring, what to ask — and can join the visit by video call when distance is the barrier, with a Diné Bizaad interpreter included when wanted.
Skills & certifications — what would make you better at your job, or ready for the one you want?
Anonymous — published only as combined counts on Community Findings, dated. Why we ask: the counts show where training is wanted — data that can justify bringing programs closer to home.
The candidate questionnaire: seventeen questions, identical for every candidate, published verbatim. And a version for the people.
Asked twice, on purpose: before your journey and after it. Two instruments — the seven issues, and the eight fixes. We publish both, whether or not anything changed.
