This whole site keeps arriving at one question: when something goes wrong, is there a venue where it gets fixed? On November 3, the Nation votes on a draft constitution. So here is the research project: take a real problem from the record — and find out whether the draft actually addresses it. Not “is reform good” — what does the text say?

The problems worth researching

Seeded from what candidates and the community raised — add your own:

Fraud tips vanish into a black box — does the draft create any duty to track or answer?
Ethics findings without teeth — does the draft change who enforces, or how?
Rules ignored with no consequence — does the draft strengthen courts or enforcement anywhere?
An employee’s housing taken mid-case — does the draft protect people while cases are heard?
Money moving without public record — what exactly does the fiscal branch get power to do?
Chapters waiting on Window Rock — does the draft shift any power closer to home?

How to research it — including with AI

Get the draft itself from the Council / Reform mission sources — the actual document, not summaries.
Search it for your problem. Read the sections that look relevant. Slow is fine.
AI can genuinely help here: upload the draft to an AI assistant and ask, “Which article addresses [your problem]? Quote it.” Then — this is the rule that makes it research instead of rumor — open the draft and read the cited section with your own eyes. An AI answer you verified is a finding; an AI answer you forwarded is a guess with good grammar.
Write your finding either way: “Article __ says: ‘…’ and here’s how it relates” — or, just as valuable: “I searched, and the draft does not appear to address this.” Absence is a finding too.
