What it is
The NNVA is the Nation’s own veterans office, separate from the federal VA. Candidates in 2026 questioned whether it is adequately staffed, funded, and reaching veterans — especially those living off the Nation. Several candidates proposed dedicated NNVA funding increases. Others questioned the coordination between the NNVA and the chapter-level outposts that are supposed to connect veterans to services.
