Six Fixes That Need No Election
A note on the word “fix”
Most of what follows isn’t repair — it’s construction. A “temporary” government structure from 1989 still running. A Code with five titles never published. A constitution never adopted. You can’t fix what was never finished being built. These are the pieces of a house still under construction — and building is work anyone can join.
What it is
Six things the record supports regardless of who wins in July or November and regardless of whether the constitution passes: publish the law, publish the rulings, fund the watchdog, staff the seams, implement healthcare oversight, and create a public checklist for elected officials. None of these requires a new constitution or a new president. Each requires will.
